Member Group Responsibilities

Member Groups are requested to perform a number of duties:
  • Elect or appoint a CWAG representative who will:
Receive all CWAG correspondence, meeting notices, membership renewals notices and publications and will be responsible for communicating the information to the group.  The group representative should also notify CWAG of any record changes.

Serve as representative (or arrange for an alternate) from the group at CWAG district meetings and annual convention and relay the information from these meetings to the group. 
  • Be active participants in CWAG by:
Contacting legislators on issues affecting them as outlined in the CWAG Advocate newspaper and "Legislative Update" and "action Alert" newsletters.
 
Discussing issues of concern at group meetings and forwarding commendations on legislative priorities during the annual platform development/amendment process.
